Stripe Facilitator

The endpoint at api.stable402.com/stripe implements the identical V2 x402 handshake as Demo 01 — same PAYMENT-REQUIRED header, same client flow — but uses Stripe as the payment facilitator instead of Coinbase CDP.

The receiver never holds crypto. USDC arrives on Base, Stripe observes the on-chain transaction, captures the funds, and credits the seller's Stripe balance. Settlement can then be withdrawn as fiat USD through standard Stripe payouts.

This demo requires Stripe private preview access (API version 2026-03-04.preview, with "Crypto payins" and "Machine payments" enabled). Preview access has been applied for — Demo 03 ships when it is confirmed. In the interim, Demos 01 and 02 cover the full CDP facilitator pattern.
